E-Commerce Sales Assistant

Do you enjoy working with people? Darvin Furniture of Orland Park is looking for a personable individual who is enthusiastic and customer focused to train as an E-Commerce Sales Associate. Prior Sales and/or Customer Service experience a plus.

E-Commerce Sales Assistant Job Responsibilities:

You will be providing assistance, perform data entry and general office work by:

  • Answering sales calls and responding to Podium and email inquiries.

  • Providing customers with correct information regarding directions to the Store, measurements on items, stock availability, warranty information, pricing, financing information, store policies, and website information.

  • Managing post-delivery service by responding to customer inquiries.

  • Facilitating guided website sales.

Hours for this position are:

  • Friday 10:00 am – 6:00 pm

  • Saturday 9:00 am – 6:00 pm

  • Sunday 10: 30am – 6:00 pm

  • Monday 10:00 am – 7:00 pm

  • Tuesday 12:00 pm -9:00 pm

This is a Full-Time position.

We are currently looking for a responsible Administrative Assistant to assist our President in various duties.

Assistant to the President Job Responsibilities:

Conserves President’s time and promotes the corporate image by representing the president internally and externally; providing liaison between the president, key executives, and employees; participates in company communications. Leads Darvin’s in person outbound representation activity.

Assistant to the President Job Duties:

  • Represents the President of Darvin, by welcoming visitors, reviewing correspondence; arranging, organizing, and attending company dinners and other corporate and Public Relations related functions; answering questions and meeting requests directed to the President, and acting as a primary point of contact to Davin team members wishing to access the President through Darvin’s open-door policy.

  • Coordinates closely with the Marketing Department and assists in the development of relationships with contacts important to Darvin within the community. Manage specific PR related relationships, events and actions which generate an intrinsic return on investment for Darvin.

  • Organize, lead, and execute the completion of special projects as assigned by the President. Complete projects within the timeframe specified.

  • Arranges corporate travel and meetings by developing itineraries and agendas; scheduling flights; booking other transportation; arranging lodging and meeting accommodations.

  • Represents the President of Darvin to key manufacturing partners including in person travel to furniture markets, leadership related conferences, ESOP related events and conferences as well as the facilitation of plant tours.

  • Creates and manages internal company events and training seminars designed to meet the objectives of the president.

  • Enhances president’s and corporation’s reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests, exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.

  • Act as a facilitator of ecommerce growth through development of website and online markets.

  • Generate reports, assist with the management of budgets, organize documents and files, answer and direct phone calls as well as electronic communications.

As a Marketplace Associate, you will work with the Manager in all areas of its operations.

Salary: $ 17.00 Per Hour, plus eligibility to earn monthly bonuses of $350.00.

Job Summary:

As the Marketplace Associate, you will be part of our dynamic team that is dedicated to transforming and enhancing spaces with unique accessories! In this vital role, you will ensure seamless customer transactions and deliver exceptional service by taking care of the customer from beginning to end. To add a bit of creativity to your day, your responsibilities will also include gift-wrapping packages. Yes, we will train you on this! You will manage all customer interactions at the checkout, handle payments, and support customers throughout their shopping experience. To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience in a customer service position. Weekend shifts are required.

      accuracy.

  • Merchandise Restocking:

    • Responsibility: Restock merchandise according to inventory needs.

  • Price Verification:

    • Responsibility: Scan goods periodically and ensure pricing is accurate.

  • Returns and Exchanges:

    • Responsibility: Handle merchandise returns and exchanges.

  • Coupon and Promotion Redemption:

    • Responsibility: Redeem coupons, gift certificates, discounts, and bonus

      promotions accurately.

  • Store Cleanliness:

    • Responsibility: Maintain clean and tidy checkout and showroom areas.

  • Packaging Assistance:

    • Responsibility: Bag, box, or gift-wrap packages for customers.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a customer-facing position.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

  • Flexibility to work weekend shifts.

  • Basic PC knowledge.

  • Familiarity with cash registers and POS.

In Home Service - Post Delivery Associate

Responsibilities include addressing customer service inquiries via phone calls and email interaction with clients, service order entry and processing, follow through and resolution. This position interacts with furniture technicians, factories and a variety of associates to ensure customer satisfaction and appropriate resolution of issues, concerns and inventory.
