Darvin hosts small businesses with Coffee Connection

On March 6, Darvin Furniture & Mattress hosted one of Southland Development Authority's Coffee Connection meetings at the all-new Mr. Darvin's Coffee Shop located in Darvin's Orland Park, Ill., showroom. In addition to some high-quality coffee beverages by Darvin baristas, and pastries provided by Huntington Bank, the exciting cafe space includes the all-new Marketplace at Darvin. More than 20 interested entrepreneurs and small business owners gathered to hear about the guidance and technical assistance SDA provides at no or low cost to start-up companies and existing businesses, as well as the opportunity for 1:1 mentoring from a consultant to assist in various areas such as Access to Capital; Grant Opportunities; Accounting/Financial management; Legal Assistance; Marketing Support; Social Media Assistance; and much more. SDA has assisted with providing over $9 million in grants to businesses throughout Chicago's Southland.
