Darvin celebrates Universal Gallery

Darvin Furniture & Mattress, 15400 S. La Grange in Orland Park, celebrated the Grand Opening of its new Universal Gallery on Saturday, September 7. The gathering of VIP invitees, customers, and Darvin executives enjoyed live music and refreshments throughout the two-hour event.
After being introduced by Joe Soto, master of ceremonies and local disc jockey for V103 FM in Chicago, Darvin Furniture & Mattress President Will Harris greeted the crowd and spoke about Darvin's commitment to providing great furniture to its customers, something that especially resonates with people when you have been successful in business for 104 years.
"We are incredibly excited to be able to welcome Universal to the Darvin showroom. The beauty, and the quality, of Universal furniture is aligned with Darvin's commitment to offer its Chicagoland customers the highest quality – at the very best prices," Harris said to the crowd of more than 50. "Have you looked around at this gallery? This Universal furniture is absolutely gorgeous."
The addition of the Universal Furniture Gallery adds a very popular national brand to the extensive collection currently offered throughout the Darvin showroom. Universal is a brand that prides itself on modern function, practical luxury, and an upscale design. Its willingness to provide extensive upholstery choices makes it popular with customers throughout the country.
According to Harris, the decision to bring Universal on board at Darvin allows the employee-owned, single-location furniture store to maintain its leadership in the highly competitive Chicagoland market as the largest furniture and mattress store.

Attendees for the Universal Furniture Gallery Grand Opening were treated to live entertainment by vocalist Soto, who was accompanied by saxophonist Derrick Tate, throughout the two-hour event. In addition to the jazzy auditory stylings, attendees enjoyed a wine tasting and prize drawings for sports, concert, and Broadway in Chicago tickets.
