With the completion of a 10-month renovation at
Darvin® Furniture,
Chicagoland’s largest furniture and mattress store will be unveiling the amazing transformation of its iconic Orland Park, IL
building into one of the region’s most distinct storefront designs.
A three-week
Grand Opening sale,
March 6-26, will offer 55% off merchandise throughout the showroom. Marking the celebration, Darvin is scheduling plenty of fun
activities throughout the month. In partnership with Bettenhausen Automotive, customers visiting Darvin between March 6-26 can register for a drawing to win a 2018 Jeep Wrangler JK Unlimited
Sahara 4x4. Additional customer drawings will include a $500 gas card and a rocker recliner giveaway every two hours March 17-18.
A new, contemporary exterior façade will provide immediate impact for customers visiting the showroom. At the center of the new construction is a tiered, circular glass entrance which will be the
centerpiece for customers entering the Darvin Furniture building, 15400 La Grange Road. A new state-of-the-art video wall will showcase current promotions, new products, videos from the top brands, and much more.
According to Lori Stengren, VP Sales, Merchandising and Marketing, the long-anticipated Grand Opening will combine a modern exterior look with a new interior space that offers a more comfortable experience for Darvin customers. “We are
incredibly excited to introduce the new Darvin building design to the public. It will significantly enhance the visual impact of the exterior facade and more accurately reflect the vast showroom we offer inside,” she says.
Visitors entering the new Darvin showroom will enjoy the hottest products and latest trends in the industry. “This new entryway space represents Darvin Furniture’s continued commitment to creating a great customer experience,” Stengren says.
For more than 97 years, Darvin has been a family-owned business in Orland Park. Generations of customers from families living all across the Chicagoland region have been a big part of the Darvin success story. During the three-week Grand
Opening celebration, co-owners Steve and Marty Darvin will be rewarding customers by conducting drawings for prizes, as well as taking the opportunity to bring attention to a local organization that helps residents in their community, the
Orland Township Food Pantry
. On March 14, the Darvins will present a $5,000 donation to the food pantry, which supplies food to residents in need of immediate assistance.
