While personal style is always a consideration, Barr says one of the biggest challenges customers face is understanding the spatial relationship between the size of a room and the furnishings. "My job is to help customers understand the actual space they are working with so they are not buying anything that is too big for their home. In my experience, people tend to buy things that are too big – never too small."
