Darvin Furniture Distribution Center Event Will Clean House in Preparation for New Construction

On May 7, Chicagoland's largest furniture and mattress store is letting items go for up to 80% off original prices

Orland Park, IL, May 1, 2017 - In preparation for an expansive facade project, Darvin Furniture, Chicagoland's largest furniture and mattress store, is planning a never-before-seen single-day event from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday, May 7, at the Darvin Furniture Distribution Center, 19111 Darvin Drive in Mokena.

In an effort to clean house and open up essential space required for its upcoming construction plans, Darvin Furniture will be holding Chicagoland's biggest furniture and mattress 'Odds & Ends' clearance sale, with savings from 60% to 80%.

The Darvin Furniture Mokena Distribution Center is a 220,000-square-foot facility that is just 10 minutes from the Darvin retail showroom in Orland Park. "We have never attempted a one-day sale of this magnitude at the Distribution Center, but the size and scope reflects the enormity of the construction project," says Promotional Sales and E-Commerce Coordinator Jeremy Kochendorfer. "By clearing our racks, we will also be freeing up enormous space to make room for exciting new products in our showroom."

According to Kochendorfer, shoppers can expect amazing prices on exceptional pieces, including factory overstock, scratch and dent, floor samples, special order cancellations and one-of-a-kind items. "We will also have clearance pricing on new furniture and mattresses, lamps and accessories. These are never-before-seen bargains at crazy, low prices. This sale can’t be missed.”

"Everything is limited to the quantity on hand. When these items and these deals leave the building, they are gone forever," says Kochendorfer.
